Athina was born and raised in Servia, Kozani. She studied Acting at the School of Drama of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Physical Theatre at the Drama and Dance School of Kent in England. She has attended various courses and seminars of contemporary dance, acrobatics and various techniques of Physical Theatre. She teaches physical theatre and kinesiology. Since 2003 she works as an actress/performer.
Athina came across Yoga 7 years ago and since then she started rediscovering herself and gradually studying and deepening onto this path. She has completed the 200RYT of Yoga Alliance at the ‘Yoga and Budo Center’, while she has also attended seminars and workshops of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Anusara, Iyengar, Yoga Nidra and courses of meditation, self-awereness and N.L.P. She’s an active practitioner of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga and keeps on developing her practice.
She teaches Hatha Yoga in groups and private classes of various levels, emphasizing on breathing, inner flow, body and mind’s state improvement, constant observation and awareness and, finally, deep relaxation. What’s most important for Athina is to stay connected to her inner self and the world, to always remain a student and live the moment as a free spirit.
