Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow-rhythm practice which mainly focuses on deep stretching exercises. The practitioner usually remains in the pose for 1-15 minutes. The combination of slow rhythme and long duration enables us to access deeper layers of our spiritual and physical body, such as the fascia, our body’s connective tissue which contains numerous information and links to our vital organs, muscles, bones, neurons, and to find the way to connect the above.
In this way, we aim to relax and de-stress our psychophysical blocks & dysfunctions. At the same time we work with what the Eastern philosophy calls Meridians, and while increasing our flexibility, the mobility of our joints in main parts of our body such as the pelvis, the spine, the hips and the chest, we achieve an overall balance and detox.
