Marios Sakketis was born in Athens in 1970 and studied at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science of Athens, specialising in teaching marine sports. From a young age he loved to create and to transform simple materials into art. Through this genuine artistry, but also through the knowledge he had acquired on the human body, he was led to the path of healing.
In 2000 he started his studies at NHS in Athens. He was trained in Holistic Massage, Traditional Thai Massage and Reflexology, Shirodhara and Rejuvance. In 2004 he traveled to Thailand and studied traditional medical massage at the Wat Pho Massage School in Bangkok. During the same year, Marios came across the art of Reiki (1st degree) and was trained in Special Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he later worked with autistic children (2021-2023) as a trainer, reflexologist and masseur.
Marios continues to this day to expand his knowledge in the therapeutic art, studying Fascia training and therapy with the osteopath Athena Vitori. His love for massage and caring for people took him to different parts of Greece and abroad. As he says, “it’s really nice to be able to do what you love and lead your life that way.”
